I'm a second owner of a 73k mile 08 and as soon as i got it got an oil change trans fluid refresh new spark plugs and sway bar links. Cant beat a car at this mileage you know will last. this is my second azera of this gen. Sadly had an 07 but a drunk driving neighbor totaled mine in my driveway so i sought out another one before they are too hard to find at low mileage.

I remember going to and from LCDC back in 1991-93 in Dodge Caravans exactly like this one, except they were white with red interior which meant that they had a scary buzzer in place of the chime one of them I rode in was a 1991 Dodge Caravan which the driver would start without his seatbelt on all the time and buzzer in that one was downright scary, his 1992 Dodge Caravan used the exact same buzzer sound as well which was taken from a 1989 Dodge Ram D100.

My o8 optima is on its second motor! First needed a timing chain replacement at 289k ! cost $800 ! Found a wrecked one with 90k $500 Swapped the motor ,trans as one and the instrument pannel ! Its now creeping up on 200k ! That being said the chassis has near 500k on it ! HAVE EVER CHANGED ! A TIE ROD A WHEEL BEARING AXLE ( CV JOINTS) NOR RACK A PINION nor bushing in it Have replaced 4 brake calipers (sticking issues) Brake rotors (Needed brakes shoes upgraded to drlilled slotted )(Power Stop )online ! ALSO 4 struts Latitudinal links on the rear (botlts ceased in the rubber bushing inth latitudinal link and couldn't be alignedwithout replacement) ! Always have that under chassis stuff checked when tire rotation every 5k !

The reason why they look different on top of the engine is one 5.4 is a 2 valve version while the other is the 3 valve engine, there’s a big difference in horsepower between the two, the 5.4 2 valve only put out 260 horsepower while the 3 valve makes 310 horsepower in 2013, if you miss any service intervals with that 2013 the 2 valve will live a lot longer then the 3 valve

Not xle has manual air controls not electronic also needs dual power seats up front. If not mistaken those are standard xle things. Now fog lught and sun roof are options. I may be wrong if some one knows standard xle options please list. I have seen xle in cloth no sunroof or fog lights. My xle is leather sun roof fogs dual power front seats electronic ac heat jbl system and of course all power 4 wheel disc v6.i know xle comes I 4 cyl and cloth no sunroof . Other options not sure what is always on xle what are options
